West Cork Natural Medicine

Located in the heart of West Cork in Dunmanway, West Cork Natural Medicine is pioneering an integrated and inter-professional approach to both treatment and training, led by Chinese Medicine consultant, Freya Sherlock. Its primary focus is in establishing a centre of excellence for the provision of natural healthcare at it’s clinic premises in the town of Dunmanway, offering a central and convenient location for the West Cork region. Meanwhile, its education and events hub is under development at Sherwood, a 60 acre haven of natural beauty near Mallabracka, 10 mins from Dunmanway. Here, professional training will take place with the College of Qi Medicine while a programme of short courses, workshops and events will aim to explore the art of better living for adults, youth and children.

The Clinic – For Treatment

Taking a 360 degree view of a patient’s health invariably requires a truly holistic treatment strategy that may well need to encompass a multi-disciplinary approach to address the many factors that contribute to health and illness. No single modality has all the answers and no single practitioner suits everyone. However, for the more discerning patient who wishes to not only address their more immediate health issues but be guided in making more profound lifestyle changes to support a healthier way of life, Freya Sherlock and the team at the West Cork Natural Medicine Clinic offers a way to plan the most appropriate course of action tailored to meet your unique needs.
